Within the XII GIT National Congress, which will be held in Gavorrano (GR) at the premises of the “Colline Metallifere Grossetane” National Park between 12th and 14th June 2017, the FREEWAT consortium will hold a short course about the free and open source FREEWAT platform, developed to promote the sustainable management of groundwater resources. This course, that will be run in Italian, aims at presenting the main capabilities of the FREEWAT platform, which integrates in QGIS several codes for the simulation of the hydrologic cycle. A second event will deal with the disciplinary session “Modeling tools for sustainable management of groundwater resources”. The deadline for abstract submission is on May the 8th 2017. For further information, please read this document (in Italian) and/or contact the FREEWAT Team.
