FREEWAT capabilities were presented on December 9th 2015 at the 26th Mišič Water Day 2015 conference (26th Mišičev vodarski dan 2015) in Maribor by partner Institut za Ekološki Inženiring (IEI), a small medium enterprise.
The conference gathered professionals and authorities involved in the water sector (management, regulation and protection of water, including groundwater) with the participation of the Minister Irena Majcen of the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning. The all-day event was organized by the Water Management Biro Maribor and Water Management Company Ptuj in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, and sponsored by the Municipality of Maribor and water and ecological companies in Slovenia.
H2020 FREEWAT project communication material was also distributed (newsletter, project leaflet) and made available to conference attendances. Interest was raised for FREEWAT platform and the whole project activities.
