On November 30th, 2015, Filiz Dadaser-Celik (Erciyes University, Turkey) presented the FREEWAT Project at the Water Quality Management Expertise Committee’s meeting on “Water Quality Modeling”.
The first version of the FREEWAT plugin (alpha1) for QGIS was today released to project partners for testing.
The EC as officially accepted and signed the Amendment to the FREEWAT project to include IGRAC http://www.un-igrac.org/ and IST-SUPSI http://www.supsi.ch/ist_en.html as full partners of the FREEWAT Consortium.
On September 15th 2015, Federico Triana Jimeno (SSA, Italy) presented the FREEWAT Project at the 44th congress of the Italian Society of Agronomy (SIA, www.siagr.org) held in Bologna (Italy).
Violeta Velasco-Mansilla (IDAEA-CSIC, Spain) will represent the FREEWAT Consortium at the ICT4WATER Cluster open day in Barcelona on September 22nd, the reference event of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) applied to water.
The EU H2020 FREEWAT project and the EU FP7 MARSOL (www.marsol.eu) will be presented September the 24th in Florence (Italy) at the Workshop Water chemical composition an important asset for the primary source of life (under the patronage of EXPO 2015).
FREEWAT is going to be presented at the Academic Track of the International Conference for Open Source Software for Geospatial - FOSS4G - in Seoul (Korea) from the 14th to the 19th September 2015 by our colleague MAssimiliano Cannata from IST-SUPSI (Switzerland) cooperating with the FREEWAT Consortium.

From 20th - 23rd May 2015 the 6th Croatian water conference took place in Opatija in Croatia.
